User Accounts

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Account Registration: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

 

Nature of Transactions

Contributions: Payments made on our platform are considered voluntary contributions or tips towards creators' wishlist items, not direct purchases of goods or services.

 

Intermediary Role Our platform acts as an intermediary to facilitate these contributions, ensuring that no direct peer-to-peer transactions occur.

 

Fees

 

Platform Fees We charge a 10% fee on each transaction. This fee is deducted before payouts to creators. The fee structure is clearly communicated during the transaction process.

 

Use of Stripe Connect

 

Payment Processing We use Stripe Connect to process payments. By using our services, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

 

Payouts Creators receive payouts via Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe's terms and verification processes.

 

Compliance and Verification

 

Legal Compliance Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to money transmission.

 

Verification We may require identity verification to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. This may include providing identification documents or other information.

 

PCI Compliance We adhere to PCI compliance standards to ensure the security of payment information.

Prohibited Activities

 

Unauthorized Use You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful or prohibited activities.

 

Prohibited Items Creators may not list items that violate our policies or Stripe's acceptable use policy.

 

Content Restrictions

 

No Sexual Content Users are prohibited from uploading, sharing, or displaying any images, text, or other content that contains explicit sexual content, nudity, or any form of sexually suggestive material.

 

Banned Words Certain words are prohibited on our platform due to Mastercard's rules and other regulations. Users must not use these words anywhere on GoWishMe.

 

Appropriate Images Wishlist item images, profile images, and header images must adhere to our no sexual content policy.

 

Content Moderation
We reserve the right to moderate all content posted or uploaded to the GoWishMe platform. This includes but is not limited to text, images, videos, and links. We may remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms of Service or our community guidelines. Users are encouraged to report any content they believe violates these guidelines, and we will investigate such reports promptly.

 

Prohibited Content and Items

 

Illegal Products and Services
   - Illegal drugs, substances designed to mimic illegal drugs (including kava).
   - Equipment and items intended for making or using drugs.
   - Fake references or ID-providing services.
   - Telecommunications manipulation equipment, including jamming devices.
   - Creators engaging in, encouraging, promoting, or celebrating unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property.
   - Creators engaging in, encouraging, promoting, or celebrating unlawful violence toward any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic.
   - Any other products or services that violate the law in the jurisdictions where you are located or targeted.
 

Adult Content and Services
   - Adult services, including prostitution, escorts, pay-per-view, sexual massages, fetish services, mail-order brides, and adult live chat features.
   - Adult video stores.
   - Gentlemen's clubs, topless bars, and strip clubs.
   - All online dating services.
   - Pornography and other mature audience content (including literature, imagery, and other media) depicting nudity or explicit sexual acts.
   - Any artificial-intelligence-generated content that meets the above criteria.
   - Any sex toys or adult toys.
 

Content Creation
   - Transactions that provide compensation to creators without an underlying piece of digital content associated. Examples include subscriptions to free, public content or a tip button on a profile page.
 

Debt Relief Companies
   - Debt settlement, debt negotiation, and debt consolidation.
 

Gambling
   - Games of chance including gambling, internet gambling, casino games, sweepstakes and contests, and fantasy sports leagues with a monetary or material prize.
   - Games of skill including video game and mobile game tournaments or competitions, darts, card games, and board games with a monetary or material prize.
   - Payments of an entry or player fee that promises the entrant or player will win a prize of value.
   - Sports forecasting or odds making with a monetary or material prize.
   - Lotteries.
   - Bidding fee auctions.
 

Government Services
   - Offering products and services by or on behalf of embassies and consulates.
   - Offering government services without authorization or added value.
   - Offering government services with misleading claims.
   - Disbursement of government economic support, such as grants.
 

Identity Services
   - Identity theft protection services including monitoring and recovery.
 

Intellectual Property Rights
   - Sales or distribution of music, movies, software, or any other licensed materials without appropriate authorization.
   - Counterfeit goods.
   - Illegally imported or exported products.
   - Unauthorized sale of brand name or designer products or services.
   - Any other products or services that directly infringe or facilitate infringement upon the trademark, patent, copyright, trade secrets, proprietary or privacy rights of any third party.
 

Legal Services
   - Bankruptcy lawyers.
   - Bail bonds.
   - Law firms collecting funds for purposes other than legal service fee payment.
 

Lending and Credit
   - Loan repayments with credit cards.
   - Credit monitoring, credit repair, and counseling services.
 

Marijuana
   - Cannabis products.
   - Cannabis dispensaries.
   - CBD products with THC levels that exceed the applicable local jurisdiction’s legal limit, including CBD edibles.
   - Hydroponic equipment and other cultivation or production equipment marketed for growing marijuana.
   - Courses and information on cultivating marijuana.
 

Nutraceuticals and Pseudo-pharmaceuticals
   - Pseudo-pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals focused on significant weight loss or sexual performance.
   - Pseudo-pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals making unsupportable or harmful claims.
 

Non-Fiat Currency
   - Cryptocurrency mining & staking.
   - Initial coin offerings (ICOs).
   - Secondary NFT sales.
 

Travel
   - Commercial airlines and cruises.
   - Timeshare services.
 

Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices
   - Pyramid schemes.
   - Multi-Level Marketing services offering commission or recruitment-based sales.
   - “Get rich quick” schemes.
   - No value-added services.
   - Sales of online traffic or engagement.
   - Negative option marketing.
   - Telemarketing.
   - Predatory mortgage consulting.
   - Predatory investment opportunities with no or low monetary deposit.
   - Suspicious remote technical support.
   - Door-to-door sales.
   - Document falsification services.
 

Weapons, Firearms, Explosives, and Dangerous Materials
   - Guns, gunpowder, ammunition, fireworks, and other explosives.
   - Weapon components.
   - Improperly marked replicas of modern firearms.
   - Pepper spray and stun guns.
   - Swords and katanas, unless they are meant as replicas or for the practice of martial arts.
   - Machetes.
   - Disguised knives and knives with opening mechanisms designed for quick deployment of a blade.

   - Research chemicals.
   - Toxic, flammable, combustible, or radioactive materials.

At GoWishMe, we take user safety and legal compliance seriously. That's why we use a secure, reliable age verification process powered by Stripe, a leading global technology company specializing in online payments and identity verification.
 

How It Works
 
1. Submit Your Information: When you sign up, you'll be prompted to verify your age through our secure Stripe integration.
 
2. Upload Your ID: You'll need to provide a clear image of a valid government-issued ID (such as a driver's license or passport).
 
3. Take a Selfie: To ensure the ID belongs to you, you'll be asked to take a quick selfie.

   - International payouts to your bank account via Stripe Express.
   - On GoWishMe, your first payout may take 7-14 days due to our payment processor's security measures.
   - Subsequent payouts for additional payouts will occur on the next scheduled payout day, happening every two business days. Please allow 2-5 business days for the funds to settle in your account.

To support our creators and maintain the platform, we charge customers a 10% fee on all transactions conducted on our platform at the checkout. This fee allows us to cover operational costs while ensuring creators receive their full funds. Additionally, certain transactions.
You will receive the full amount listed unless there is a currency conversion. We recommend increasing your price by 2%-5% to account for any potential conversion losses. We do not profit from these losses, but conversions can result in some loss of funds due to fluctuations in the banking system.
 

Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy
All purchases and fees associated with your account are final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to address any refund requests at our discretion.
 

Disputes and Chargebacks
GoWishMe provides complete chargeback protection, safeguarding against fraudulent chargebacks.
We work to prevent disputes and chargebacks on our platform. However, we reserve the right to debit users for the cost of lost disputes.
 

Account Verification & Suspension
We may freeze or suspend your account if we believe you are violating our Terms of Service. This may include requests for additional verification information.
 

Account Abandonment
We may reverse funds for abandoned accounts with remaining balances.
